China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. (CRFSD)

China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Fifth Railway Institute) was formerly known as the Science and Technology Research Office (Institute) of the Railway Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It was founded in October 1958 and is now a central enterprise managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. A wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Construction Co., Ltd., it has more than 20 various Grade A qualification credit certificates such as Comprehensive Grade A for Engineering Design, Grade A for Comprehensive Engineering Survey, and Grade A for Urban and Rural Planning. It is one of the top 100 survey and design enterprises in China, a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, a national civilized unit, an advanced collective of central enterprises, the first batch of high-tech enterprises in Beijing, and one of the "Top 60 Chinese Engineering Design Enterprises" by ENR/"Construction Times".
