About

CIFA is a non-governmental organization born in 1980 in Turin, committed to improving the living conditions of children in need or in a state of abandonment and to protect their fundamental rights.

CIFA's multi-year commitment is characterized by international adoption, an instrument with which a family is guaranteed for those children who are not given the opportunity to grow up in an adequate family environment within their own country. CIFA supports aspiring adoptive parents in the process of increasing their parenting skills during the adoption process and during the insertion of the child into the family.

Through international cooperation projects in favor of children, carried out with the full involvement of local partners, CIFA prevents the phenomenon of abandonment and promotes children's rights. CIFA's projects favor the improvement of the living conditions of children and the communities in which they live, the satisfaction of their primary needs such as water, food, health care, education and protection, respect for their rights.
