As a nonprofit making organisation,  GBIDRE maintains a politically-neutral stance on issues in South Sudan,  and strive to use academic research, and training to promote development,  human rights and governance in South Sudan. In terms of human resources, the Institute has qualified, experienced and gender-balanced team of researchers with varied academic backgrounds, drawn from University of Juba, the oldest university in South Sudan. Our expertise lies in identifying, designing and implementing high impact projects in areas of Education,  Health,  Environment,  Public Safety and Social Inclusion in both urban as well as rural communities across the country.
