Kopila

KOPILA Nepal, established in 2001, is a Nepali non-government organization serving the interest of women suffering from various forms of violence and abuse, children from the marginalized community and Persons with Disabilities. Registered with the District Administration Office of Kaski district, KOPILA Nepal implements its activities in nine districts of Gandaki Province. With financial support from BMZ and in partnership with the German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) KOPILA Nepal has been implementing Including the Excluded Project with an aim to enhance social inclusion of persons with disabilities in eight municipalities of Nawalparsi (East) district.

Kopila Nepal strives to make sure that the most marginalized women and children in our working areas are able to enjoy their fundamental human rights and psychosocial wellbeing.

We work with community members, local, national and international government and non-governmental organizations to bring about the essential structural changes needed to eliminate social disparities of all kinds and to achieve social justice and equity for all.
