TERRA TECH is a charitable German NGO active in humanitarian aid and development programmes worldwide since 1986. Our focus of activities is the health sector, while we understand health similar to the PHC-concept for Africa, hence including curative and preventative measures, water and sanitation, training, nutrition and construction of health facilities. In special emergencies we also provide other essential humanitarian aid like Non-Food-Items to refugees.
We always work with and through local partners, might it be local NGOs, grass-root initiatives, line ministries or communities. We also always try to involve as many local skills and knowledge, including man power, as possible and are sending expatriates for initial management before having installed a local infrastructure or as short term experts for special training of local key staff.
