Retizen

Retizen is a community-based organization in Kenya with the goal of promoting responsible citizenship among the youth in the county. The name Retizen comes from the words "Responsible Citizen". Retizen is built on four pillars: Youth, Integrity, Innovation and Advocacy.
The primary objective of Retizen is to empower young people to become responsible leaders and change agents in their communities. Through sprorts, education and mentorship, Retizen seeks to equip the youth with the knowledge and tools they need to build a culture of integrity within their communities. Retizen engages youth mainly through sports to help them understand the importance of integrity and why it is essential in a world where corruption is often seen as the easy way out.
