Hearts of Lavender

Hearts of Lavender is an NPO whose main goal is to eradicate the prevelence of teenage pregnancy in South Africa. We aim to do this by centering Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) as our teaching medium to children and youth of South Africa. We also aim to tackle the socioeconomic and sociocultural causes that put our children and youth in harms way of having ill-prepared children. By eradicating teenage pregnancy through CSE we will also be decreasing the chances of children and youth from contracting STIs/STDs as well as increase their chances of them achieving academic and economic success, as having children at a young age can hinder their chances of finishing school and receiving the education they need to achieve their career goals and advance economically. 

As an organization we belive in creating multilevel networks that will assist us in achieving our goals. Thus we are willing to work with a multitude of sectors to achieve all of our goals.
