Overview

Aki Foods Inc. is an Indigenous non-profit social enterprise incubated by Aki Energy in 2015. Our mandate is to develop social enterprise projects in communities that are focused on improving food security, increasing food sovereignty and improving local economies. Aki Foods partners with First Nations communities to increase access to inexpensive, healthy food with an emphasis on instituting strong, local food systems, and creating local jobs. We are intent on fostering awareness about the importance of cultivating a sustainable, healthy future for Indigenous Peoples.
