BDO - Butana Development Organization

Butana a Development Organization (BDO) is a Sudanese national non-governmental organization established in 2023 under the HAC law . BDO is based in New Halfa. Its vision is to enhance and improve the livelihoods of poor rural communities and increase their ability to overcome poverty. BDO seeks to build strong, resilient and drought-resistant communities by inspiring local communities and providing them with sufficient skills to improve their lives and enable them to live decently. BDO's operations started and still are continuing in the localities of the River Atbara, New Halfa and the rural areas of Khashm El-Girba in Kassala State. It has the right to establish & open branches in various cities in the Sudan and abroad. The overall objectives are qualifying human cadres through training and capacity building and focusing.
