GESAMB is the company responsible for the management and operation of the Intermunicipal System for the Recovery and Treatment of Urban Waste in the District of Évora (SIRU), which includes the municipalities of Alandroal, Arraiolos Borba, Estremoz, Évora, Montemor-o-Novo, Mora, Mourão, Redondo, Reguengos de Monsaraz, Vendas Novas and Vila Viçosa, which produce around 76 thousand tons of solid urban waste per year.

Mission - Ensure the integrated management of the Intermunicipal Urban Waste System of the District of Évora, using the safest and most environmentally appropriate techniques, always taking into account the principles of sustainability and application of national and international legislation and recommendations in force for the waste sector.
