FOSUP - Farmers Organisations Support Programme

Farmer Organisation Support Programme (FOSUP), a programme of farmer organisation support, capacity building and policy engagement, is a civil society organisation registered under the Registrar of Societies Act Cap 119 of the laws of Zambia. The organisation is governed by Advisory and Management Board (AMB) through its Secretariat manned by the Executive Director, Field and administrative staff and a team of volunteer Associate Facilitators. The vision of FOSUP is to have dynamic, effective and sustainable small scale farmer organisations in Zambia.  Its mission is to support small-scale farmer organisations in Zambia to enable them meet their members needs and ensure sustainable production and service delivery, through networking, training, campaigning, advocacy and lobbyingThe overall goal of FOSUP is to have strong and sustainable member based farmer organisations that effectively support their members in making informed decisions and accessing productive resources for increased productivity and profitability.
