About
We aim at an inclusive society where all persons are equally participating in their social, political, economic, and cultural environments. In promoting an inclusive society with a human rights based approach, we take steps to bridge the North-South-Divide.
We target persons with disabilities living in poverty who are among the most excluded and underprivileged groups in any society. Putting them at the centre of our development efforts will advance the removal of barriers impeding other excluded groups as well. We pay specific attention to groups of persons with disabilities whose socio-economic status is particularly vulnerable: deafblind persons, hearing impaired persons, persons with learning difficulties, persons with disabilities affected by HIV/AIDS, women with disabilities, and children with disabilities.
