About
Founded in 1989 by Jürgen Gessner, the Stiftunglife Foundation aims to support children and youth in need. The Foundation started off in Ethiopia (in collaboration with Karlheinz Böhm – Menschen für Menschen) and now funds projects in various developing countries across the globe (their regional focus is Myanmar, the Philippines, and Ethiopia). They implement their own projects as well as work with other non-profit organisations (e.g. they work a lot with local Lion’s and Rotary Clubs). They have regular volunteer meetings across Germany.
