St. Mary’s Health Science Training Institute is a leading center for medical education in South Sudan, dedicated to training the next generation of skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals. Established to address the critical shortage of qualified health workers, the institute offers programs in nursing, midwifery, laboratory technology, and other essential medical fields.

Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethics needed to serve communities across South Sudan, especially in rural and underserved areas where healthcare needs are most urgent.

The institute is now embarking on an ambitious expansion project to become a state-of-the-art health science training hub, featuring modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, digital learning resources, student accommodations, and simulation centers that match international standards. This expansion will enable us to triple our training capacity, enhance learning quality, and open doors for more young people particularly women to join the healthcare workforce.
