About

The Centre for Relief and Rural Development (CRRD) proposes the “Empowering Women and Girls to End Gender-Based Violence in Kitagwenda District” project to reduce violence against women and girls (VAWG) through a community-based, multi-sectoral approach.
The project will strengthen access to essential services, build prevention mechanisms through behaviour change, and improve the implementation of GBV-related laws and policies. Targeting over 10,000 women and girls, including survivors, youth, and community leaders, the project seeks to create safe spaces, enhance legal support, and promote economic empowerment for survivors of violence.
