BWK is also responsible for the Confederation of Engineers for Water Management, Waste Management and Cultural Engineering. Soil protection, contaminated sites, ecology or environmental technology, summarized under BWK - the environmental engineers.

The BWK acts as an independent and future-oriented association and is committed to preserving a life-like environment for present and future generations. We develop innovative strategies and implement them in constructive solutions.

Experts such as engineers, natural scientists and other interested parties are active in the field of environmental protection. Our members pursue with passion and expertise the aim of reconciling the constant conflict between the demands of the people, the possibilities and limits of technology and the laws of the natural balance.

We are an association with which the further education of its members, especially in the contact between young and experienced colleagues, is an important concern.
