Universal Engineering Co.,Ltd. was founded in 1983 in Tokyo, Japan. It started as a Civil Engineer Design and Construction Management Contractor for Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Government of Japan (GoJ) and later on, developed itself as a company capable of achieving local government, MoD and GoJ project requirements.

From Year 2014, with continuous success, the company has moved its main office to Hokkaido, Japan; established a new Branch Office in Tokyo, Japan and Manila, Philippines.
The Branch Offices aim for universal opportunities and endeavour, broader customer‐base,international experience and expertise. The company has also related itself to Beta Plan Inc., a Civil Engineering and Surveying Company which has brought in additional expertise in Civil Engineering Design in Water Supply, Sanitary Sewage,Stormwater Drainage, Roads, Bridges and Geographic Information System (GIS) Surveying.

As of now, with over 30 Years of Civil Engineering experience, the company have expertise in Preparation of Criteria Package, Planning Document, Military Construction (MILCON) Design, Construction Management, Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering Design Specification. The company have been involved with many projects for the Government of Japan (GoJ) and U.S. Military projects in Japan, as well.
