Tostan - We empower African communities to bring about sustainable development and positive social transformation based on respect for human rights. We believe that through this mission we can ensure every person—woman, man, girl, and boy—is able to live a life of dignity.

Tostan is a US 501(c)(3) Non Governmental Organization headquartered in Dakar, Senegal.  Tostan\'s mission is to empower African communities to bring about sustainable development and positive social transformation based on respect for human rights. Its programs are currently being implemented in six African countries. Over the last three years, Tostan has been creating a training center, now scheduled to open in April 2015.  We are seeking a dynamic professional to direct it.
