Comitato don Peppe Diana

The "Don Peppe Diana Committee" was officially born on April 25, 2006. Purpose of the association (extracted from the Statute): a) build the memory of Don Giuseppe Diana, contextualizing his life as a normal person in a problematic reality; b) to promote hope, commitment and responsibility in the new generations; c) promoting the rights of the individual and supporting the dimension of responsibility of personal networks, solidarity between generations and social groups within a community oriented to the values of justice and social cohesion;

The Don Peppe Diana Committee pursues its aims through service activities such as, by way of example:

a) organize cultural initiatives, in-depth studies and information on the Camorra phenomenon and on the strategies for responding to it;

b) carry out educational and didactic actions on the themes of civil and social commitment for an active citizenship;

c) publish material relating to the initiatives referred to in point a), as well as produce and disseminate any other text or audiovisual document relevant to the purposes of the Don Peppe Diana Committee;

d) organize training activities for teachers, students, social workers and for anyone who intends to commit themselves to the growth of the culture of citizenship, legality, solidarity, non-violence and environmental protection;

e) collect, organize and disseminate updated documentation on the mafias and possible strategies to combat them;
