Establishment
African Development Trust (ADT) is a British organisation founded in 2004 by a few development-oriented individuals of African background and dedicated for African development. ADT is legally registered at British Charity Commission with registration number: 1157822 and company registration number: 05841438
Status
ADT is non-political, non-religious, non-racial, and non-profit-making UK charity organisation devoted to make a positive lasting change in the life and livelihood status of the African communities in Africa and UK.

Future Directions
Based on the lessons learnt through 10 year’s experience of interventions in the marginalised and poor Africa, ADT will be focusing on three strategic areas of African development in its future directions: education development (promoting access to education through constructing of primary schools along with sponsorship of poor students), economic diversification (promoting investments, microfinance and microenterprises development), and infrastructure development (promoting development of access, communication and service facilities i.e. water, education, health
