The Mission
SHARE enables impoverished agriculturally based communities to improve their quality of life by supporting projects that contribute to economic, social and environmental development and sustainability.

• Ensure grass roots project funding is provided without colour, gender, religious or political bias.
• Work with partners locally in countries where projects are supported.

Share Agriculture Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and improving the quality of life in rural communities of developing countries through sustainable agricultural development. Rooted in the belief that food security begins with empowering local farmers, the foundation works to strengthen livelihoods by providing the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to build long‑term self‑reliance.

Its work focuses on supporting smallholder farmers through training in sustainable agriculture, livestock management, water access, soil conservation, and income‑generating activities. The foundation invests in initiatives that encourage environmentally responsible farming, improve household nutrition, diversify income sources, and enhance local resilience to climate and economic pressures. Share Agriculture Foundation operates primarily in Central America and the Caribbean, directing its support to rural communities in countries such as Honduras, Belize, and Guyana. Its place‑based work ensures that programming is tailored to the agricultural, social, and environmental realities of the communities it serves.

The foundation supports rural families, smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and community groups, while collaborating with local NGOs, agronomists, and development partners who share its commitment to sustainable agriculture and community empowerment.
