MTS - Media Training Station CIC

Media Training Station (MTS) is a Community Interest Company - a registered UK-based non-profit organisation serving the needs of journalists worldwide, but especially in countries in crisis and transition.

Our founders are former journalists and managers from the BBC and other leading news organisations. We all have a wealth of experience in journalism, broadcast, production and training. We're connected to journalist trainers and consultants worldwide, meaning we can get support to those who need it quickly and efficiently.

Since we formed in 2011, we've delivered training to journalists in Iran, the Arab World, Nigeria and across east Africa. We've supported a number of radio and television stations which are broadcasting into Syria and helped to establish radio stations serving minority ethnic communities in Georgia. We're now working with a UK university to develop distance learning materials for postgraduate students.
