Integral Alliance

Integral is a global alliance of 23 Christian relief and development agencies, working together to present a more effective response to poverty worldwide. Integral's goal is to see holistic transformation for more poor people, through providing collaborative opportunities for its Members in the areas of Disaster Management and Collaboration and Innovation.

Integral Members work in 85 countries, across 40 sectors, and work through over 600 partners.

Integral's vision is a world without poverty. Our mission is to work in collaboration as national relief and development agencies committed to maximising the holistic impact of our Christian response to the poor worldwide. Integral’s main focus is on working together when disasters happen, and to find opportunities to avoid duplication in the work of our Members.

Integral was launched as an alliance in October 2004 in Toronto. Prior to the start of Integral there was a 2 year consultation period in which the desire and will to model a new collaborative way of working was discussed and tested. What drew such diverse organisations together, from different countries, were their underlying Christian values, and a belief that the poor would be better served if resources were combined.
