Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences (DIAS) is a research institution under the ministry of food, agriculture, and fisheries. The company offers animal husbandry, plant production, technical research, internal and external environmental impacts, animal welfare, and quality and competitiveness of agricultural products. DIAS was formed as a result of a merger between Danish Institute of Animal Science and Danish Institute of Plant and Soil Science. It was founded in 1997 and is based in Tjele, Denmark.

The Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences has merged with the University of Aarhus and become the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
