About

The Research Center for Cooperation and Sustainable Development (CERCODD) is an apolitical, secular, non-partisan and non-profit association. It brings together experts and researchers whose leitmotif is to develop cooperation in the service of sustainable development.
1- Mission
CERCODD's mission is to promote and contribute to the sustainable development of territories through support of the State, development support partners, decentralized local authorities and local communities in their development initiatives. This support is available through action research, training, advisory support and resource mobilization.
2- Objectives
- Train and strengthen the capacities of local actors, executives and professionals in the use and mastery of sustainable development tools;
- Facilitate the intervention of development support partners with a view to implementing appropriate actions at the local level;
- Support decentralized local authorities in the development and implementation of sustainable local development policies;
- Support the State in the development of public land use planning policies and the close monitoring of grassroots community development projects;
- Promote the sustainable development approach in the local public space.
3- CERCODD expertise
• International cooperation
- Development and management of international municipal strategies;
- Support for decentralized local authorities in establishing national and international partnerships;
- Carrying out territorial marketing.
• Engineering of Sustainable Development projects
- Setting up, monitoring and evaluating development projects;
- Development and monitoring of territorial management tools: Local Agenda 21, Municipal Development Plan, Local Sustainable Development Plan;
- Development and promotion of sustainable development education projects;
- Carrying out studies (social, economic, cultural, environmental);
- Support for institutions in the implementation of CSR.
