YouNet

Younet is an association of social promotion that uses the learning mobility , as a tool to support the personal and professional growth, intercultural dialogue and European awareness. By learning mobility means the transnational mobility undertaken for a period of time, organized for educational purposes, to acquire new skills or knowledge. It covers a wide range of projects and activities aimed at various age groups, and is implemented in both formal and non-formal contexts.

Younet works in synergy with public and private institutions of Bologna, the rest of Italy and of Europe, which organizes events, meetings and training projects in multicultural and multidisciplinary nature. Staff Younet consists of young people from eight European nations: professionals and volunteers who work for the design and the coordination of international mobility projects promoted by the European Community.

Promote intercultural dialogue through meetings between citizens from different European countries
Raising awareness of European cultural heritage, from the rights / obligations deriving from membership of the European Communities
Encouraging active citizenship and the commitment of young people in society
Promote training, cooperation and collaboration between government agencies and non-profit organizations
Support social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.
 

YouNet is an innovative, professional and reliable no profit organisation active in the fields of education, training and youths especially in the framework of European programmes. YouNet main headquarter is in Bologna (Emilia-Romagna) but it operates as well in Sicilia, in Puglia and soon in Lazio. YouNet dedicated and passionate staff is composed of 9 full time employees. YouNet has a broad experience in EU programmes and enables every year hundreds of people to experience and learn abroad and in Italy.
YouNet works as a network in the Italian territory where it cooperates with public institutions, schools, universities, educations institutions, cooperatives, enterprises and other organisations. In this framework of Erasmus+:Leonardo da Vinci, YouNet acts as receiving intermediary organisation and as sending VET consortium coordinator.
YouNet cooperates closely with local and regional institutions. Through a formal agreement with the Europe Direct point, the Bologna municipality and the Emilia-Romagna region YouNet runs in the premises of the municipality an infopoint to orient, support and coach citizens interested to go abroad for training, work or volunteering experiences.
YouNet organises learning mobility and educational activities related to European education, organizational and project management, communication and soft skills, non-formal education, social entrepreneurship and learning mobility aimed to teachers, school managers, trainers, public servants and NGOs staff. YouNet has organized over 10 successful In-Service Trainings in the framework of the previous Lifelong Learning Programme. YouNet cooperates closely with local and regional institutions, especially with Bologna municipality and Emilia-Romagna Region with which YouNet has a formal contract related to the Europe Direct activities.
In the framework of Erasmus+ key action 1 for school education staff, YouNet organizes structured training courses. YouNet can execute all or part of the following duties:
• Organization of training activities providing high qualified and experienced trainers, educational materials and facilities;
• Organization of cultural and leisure activities (if requested);
• Organization of networking meetings with local schools and public institutions (if requested);
• Full time support and communication before, during and after the training course;
• Comprehensive and timely organized preparation phase;
• Management of all the practical and logistics details including food, accommodation and travel (if requested);
• Setting up an e-learning platform (if requested);
• Provide all the needed documents (certificate, invoices, …) and support for the final report;
• Consultancy, proposal review and support during the application phase (if requested);
• Support in the design and implementation of the European Development plan (if requested).
In addition YouNet can provide assistance in finding schools in Italy interested in hosting foreign school staff for medium and long term teaching assignments.
