About

Asia Pacific Aid Programs Inc. (APAP) is a Philippines-based international nonprofit, offering effective, efficient and transparent aid programs to address Asia Pacific’s top development challenges in areas including:

  • Environment & conservation
  • Climate change adaptation & mitigation
  • Agriculture
  • Disaster risk management & recovery
  • Education & health
  • Markets & economic development
  • Urbanization & social infrastructure
  • Civil society

APAP founders together have more than a century of experience with major international aid and organizations and development finance institutions, ranging from overall management of multimillion-dollar country or regional programs, to field work, procurement, operations, evaluation, project budgeting, financial control, and other key areas.

Drawing lessons from this experience, APAP was organized as an more efficient new aid delivery channel to donors of all sizes, from national agencies to corporate and family foundations, and individuals. APAP brings a profoundly new approach to international development, operating without the baggage of clunky legacy systems, overly politicized, cumbersome processes, or bureaucracy for its own sake.

Our integrated platform for project budgeting, preparation, funding, implementation, oversight, M&E, and donor reporting all were built over the past five years to support work with major DFIs, and international aid programs, providing a new high level of donor support. APAP can thus deliver greater impacts for the same funding, with better control and total transparency to donors, beneficiaries, host governments and other partners.
