wadi Organisation - Woman Advocacy & Development Initiative

Women Advocacy and Development Initiative (wadi) started in 2010 as group of diaspora women activist who conducted their master program in The Netherlands. In the Year 2013 wadi is registered as a Dutch organisation, based in The Hague. In May 2017 wadi is officially registered as wadi Sudan based in Khartoum.

Wadi Organisation is dedicated to women and youth rights and empowerment.We believe that peace, security, prosperity, and economic. Growth cannot be achieved without the full participation of women as an agent for change, and those men and boys are important partners in these efforts.

Vision
Wadi envisions seeing peaceful, prosperous and self-reliant communities in Africa beside the socio-cultural activities in the Netherlands.

Mission
The mission of Wadi Organisation is to contribute to the socio-economic improvement of these communities through sustainable development interventions focusing on women as agents of changes.

Approach
Wadi intensifies activities on capacity building to raise awareness on female gender situations, inspire youths and engage with stakeholders for effectiveness and sustainable impact.
