Participatory Research & Action Network - PRAAN

Participatory Research and Action Network (PRAAN) is a Bangladesh-based public-interest organization that empowers marginalized and coastal communities. It promotes research, evidencebased advocity and action, focusing on climate justice and resilience building. PRAAN supports sustainable livelihoods, engages in humanitarian response and disaster management, and advocates for inclusive policies and social equity. The organization builds local capacity for adaptation and development, links grassroots communities with policymakers and stakeholders, and fosters long-term social and environmental change.

We Envision a poverty-free pluralist society based on knowledge and technology where everyone’s basic needs, rights and information are ensured.

MISSION
We Will work to fight poverty through participatory action research activities followed by social actions to eradicate poverty, lack of knowledge, and Injustice.
