DOCOL Construction, Rehabilitation & Trading Company had a humble beginning on 15th June 1987 as a construction and trading company ,and has now transformed into a leading construction, rehabilitation, transport and trading company in the Horn of Africa and the East Africa region having a network of 2 branches in Nairobi and Mombasa and the head quarter in Mogadishu ,Somalia.

The history of the company dates back to the peaceful days of Somalia when Mr. Hussein Ahmed opened the doors of Docol Construction & Trading as a small venture to cater for the construction needs of individuals and a single door provision store. The company’s growth was curtailed when the civil war started in Somalia and but has since regained its strength in construction and trading business and introduced rehabilitation as part of its business since the year 2007 when meaningful peace was regained in Somalia. The hard work, determination and endeavours of the founding fathers soon bore fruit and established the name of Docol as one of the most trusted names in the construction, rehabilitation and trading business.

The success is credited to the founders of the Company who nursed it with their sweat and blood. In this they were ably assisted by seasoned Directors and a set of young dynamic executives and the entire team of loyal, trusted workers.

Yusuf Hussein Ahmed is presently the Managing Director of Docol Construction, Rehabilitation and Trading Company. Yusuf has a strong foundation in business which has led to the rapid growth and expansion of Docol's operations within the Horn of Africa and into the East Africa region.

Docol today operates from Medina Road, Opposite 21-October School Building, Waberi District, Mogadishu, Somalia, offering comprehensive services and ensuring absolute peace of mind and total customer satisfaction. Our service, speed, efficiency and reliability have guided our growth since inception. The same has also helped us in earning great respect from the United Nations Organizations operating in Somalia and leading companies who have for long entrusted their business to us. Their strong faith is a mute testimony of the reliability and efficiency of our organization.
