cdw Stiftung gGmbH

In 2011, the founders and principal shareholders of SMA Solar Technology AG, Dr.-Ing. E. h. Günther Cramer, Peter Drews and Reiner Wettlaufer, set up the today's foundation, cdw Stiftung.

The cdw Stiftung gGmbH is the operational unit of the cdw Stiftung. It develops, implements and promotes all projects.

The Foundation Network aims to promote the spread of renewable energy companies in developing countries and to support the region of North Hessen. In doing so, we are predominantly operational, but also provide support: we focus mainly on our own initiatives and projects. However, we also support third-party projects that we believe tie in sensibly with our own activities. We want to tackle the issues we have chosen to focus on by means of several key projects. Additional support measures supplement our key projects.
