Description

This negotiation procedure is based on the Action Document EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic diversification II, Financed under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe). The action will continue the previous EU GCC Economic Diversification dialogue projects’ (2018-2024) objectives and will deepen the engagement with GCC counterparts on generating business and trade opportunities for EU businesses, particularly European SMEs, and supporting economic diversification in the GCC countries by sharing EU best practices. The overall objective of the action is to enhance EU-GCC trade and investment relations in line with the EU Joint Communication and to promote EU business interests, while contributing to the economic diversification in the GCC countries. The contractor will be responsible for the implementation of a broad range of activities to achieve the overall objective and its specific objectives, including inter alia: 1) Events and workshops, seminars, study tours, high- level conferences etc., in both at GCC and individual GCC country level; 2) Specialised technical assistance and policy analysis related to EU-GCC trade, investment and economic affairs; 3) Support to high-level EU GCC regional and bilateral dialogues and meetings, especially EU GCC Trade and Investment Dialogue and bilateral Co-operation Arrangements; 4) Developing and maintaining a social media campaign to promote the EU’s visibility in the GCC; 5) Mapping stakeholders and keeping a list of them – relevant authorities as well as business contacts to keep them informed about the events and networking possibilities; 6) Continuing support the establishment of first EU Chamber of Commerce in KSA and possibly supporting establishment in other GCC countries;
