NC-2019 ERFO Repairs Road Construction & Stream Restoration
Construction at the Grandfather Ranger District (see Attachment 02 Maps & Drawings) within the National Forest of North Carolina 160A Zillicoa ST, Asheville, NC 28801 (in Avery, Burke and Caldwell Counties). This project addresses the repair of 10 fill bank failure sites with MSE and geo-reinforced designs and the realignment of road and stream sections approximately 800 feet long. Work will also include stream restoration component.
A site visit will be held on Thurs 4/25/24 at 10am at Craigs Creek Crossings on National Forest Service Road 982 Mortimer Piedmont Mile Post 1.61 and 1.82 of Linville Gorge Area. Coordinates: 35.957302, -81.774646 ****Enter from the South Side, North Side is closed****
