THE CONSULTING SERVICE ADVERTISEMENT

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry (MOFALI) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Livestock Commercialization Project (LCP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The consulting service (“the Service”) is required to provide "External longitudinal monitoring and evaluation study” to the project (LCP). This interim longitudinal study is designed to replicate the methodology and sampling strategy of the baseline report of the LCP. The purpose is to generate a comparative snapshot of the project's progress and impact before the end-line assessment, which a different agency will conduct. Special attention will be given to the effects of external events, particularly natural calamities such as “Dzud”, on the project's results.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Qualification based Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
