Use of State-of-the-art Ar/vr Input Devices in Space Applications - Expro Plus

Objectives: The tender aims to evaluate and enhance the use of state-of-the-art Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) input devices such as gloves, hand gestures, 3D mouse, and eye tracking for better usability and natural interactions in space applications. The objective is to improve user interaction for manned and unmanned space missions, including astronaut training, test verification, remote testing, virtual spacecraft monitoring and control, data visualization, and remote support. The activity involves the analysis of use cases, assessment of needs in testing, training, operations, proposing reference architectures, and developing a demonstrator using selected AR/VR input devices. The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of AR/VR input devices suitable for space applications and to address current application shortcomings.
