This operation, together with HO-l1019, is part of a coordinated programme to support the electricity sector and the recovery of ENEE in coordination with other donors, including the World Bank (WB), the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). With the proposed transaction, the bank will finance priority investments in transmission and support a program for reducing losses, giving continuity to the support already provided with the programs for strengthening the ENEE (1584/SF-HO), and for the electrical integration of Central America (1095/SF-HO). Status: Approved by the Board on 4 December 2013.Estimated total cost: US$ 22.9 million. Loan amount: US$ 22.9 million. Executing agency: To be determined.
