2. The Commonwealth of The Bahamas has received a grant from the Inter-American Development Bank and the European Union-Caribbean Investment Facility (EU-CIF) toward the cost of the Programme to Support the Health System Strengthening of The Bahamas, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for the Construction of a new Public Health Clinic at Moore’s Island, Abaco and Contract number GRT/ER-19507-BH>BH-G0004-P00003. 
 

3. The Ministry of Health and Wellness now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction of a new Public Health Clinic at Moore’s Island Abaco. The delivery/construction period is 14 months. 
 

4. The RFB will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Works financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2349-15 approved by the Board of Executive Directors of the Bank on 2nd of July 2019 and effective 1st of January 2020, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the bidding document.

6. Qualification’s requirements include:  Experience with at least one (1) similar work, for an equivalent amount of at least 3 million USD, in the years from 2019 to 2024, qualifications and experience of key technical personnel as indicated in the bidding documents, minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of US$100,000.00 (one hundred thousand US$).  A margin of preference for national contractors/JVCAs shall not be applied. 
 

7. A complete set of the bidding document in English will be published on the Government of The Bahamas’ eProcurement website Bahamas.bonfirehub.com to facilitate bidders’ participation.  
 

8. Bids are to be submitted electronically at https://bahamas.bonfirehub.com by Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
