Enhancing Water-Food Security and Resilience in Volcanic Island Countries of the Pacific

Objectives: The project, titled "Enhancing Water-Food Security and Resilience in Volcanic Island Countries of the Pacific," aims to enhance water and food security, sustain ecosystem services, and reinforce climate resilience in volcanic island countries like Fiji, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. Key objectives include expanding and evaluating groundwater resources, establishing groundwater governance frameworks, addressing hot spots, and strengthening institutional capacity. The project is supported by the Global Environment Fund (GEF) and involves the delivery of waterproof handheld meters for water quality testing.
