Objectives: The African Development Bank (AfDB) is implementing several co-financed regional structuring projects in collaboration with the European Union Commission to foster economic growth and improve development outcomes for its regional member countries. As part of these efforts, AfDB seeks to recruit a local individual consultant with expertise in transportation. This consultant will support the Transport Sector Division in managing the project portfolio, predominantly in West Africa. The role involves reviewing all documents, including procurement files, in accordance with the Bank's policies, directives, and rules. Additionally, the consultant will produce specific reports for EU-funded projects under PAGoDA, engage in project cycle activities such as identification, preparation, evaluation, and portfolio management. The consultant will work closely with project officers and be based at the national office in Dakar, Senegal.
