Etude de Faisabilité pour la Réutilisation des Eaux Usées Traitées du Pôle épuratoire de Choutrana dans le Grand Tunis

Objectives: This tender calls for a comprehensive feasibility study aimed at determining the viable options for reusing treated wastewater from the Greater Tunis area. The primary objectives are to explore and evaluate potential reclamation schemes for treated wastewater, particularly from the Choutrana hub, to alleviate water scarcity challenges. The study seeks to propose 2-3 alternative reuse scenarios, analyze their feasibility through technical, economic, environmental, and social lenses, and deliver a final proposed approach for widescale implementation. Moreover, this study aims to evaluate potential impacts on local agriculture, municipal utilities, and industrial environments, ensuring that any reuse strategy aligns with both local demand and environmental regulations. The expected outcomes include robust frameworks for the treatment, distribution, and utility of reclaimed water, potentially increasing agricultural irrigation capacity or supporting municipal and industrial water needs. By doing so, the project aims to contribute significantly to sustainable water management solutions, supporting Tunisia's national objectives for water resource rejuvenation and management by 2050.
