Objectives: The Climate-Resilient Energy and Water Sector Project (CREWS-ICS-03) in the Federated States of Micronesia focuses on developing and enhancing energy infrastructure with a special emphasis on the diverse island groups within Chuuk State. The project aims to ensure equitable community participation and mitigate adverse impacts on affected populations while complying with international social safeguard standards. The Social Safeguards Expert position will focus on implementing strategies for involuntary resettlement, gender inclusivity, and community development, ensuring project activities align with local customs and operationalize beneficial outcomes across the islands.
