Planning Sample Registration System (SRS) for Mortality Surveillance

Objectives: This tender seeks an experienced consultant for the Planning and implementation of a Sample Registration System (SRS) for Mortality Surveillance in Ghana, Kenya, and Tanzania. Vital Strategies, with the collaboration of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute and support from the Gates Foundation, will guide and support this initiative, working closely with CRVS and mortality surveillance stakeholders, public health institutions, and others. The consultant will provide technical guidance to design a cost-effective SRS aiming to enable better mortality data collection, enhance civil registration, and improve public health policies. Deliverables include a situational assessment report, national SRS design proposal, strategic action plan, and stakeholder presentation.
