Planning Sample Registration System (SRS) for Mortality Surveillance

Objectives: The objective of this tender is to engage an experienced consultant to provide technical guidance and support in the planning phase for the design of a cost-effective Sample Registration System (SRS) for mortality surveillance in Senegal. This work is critical to collaborating with the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) and mortality surveillance government stakeholders, as well as public health and academic institutions in the country. The consultant will aid in designing the SRS that solves short-term mortality data needs for policy-making and health security, while contributing to the long-term goal of universal civil registration. Deliverables include an assessment report of existing mortality data sources, a national SRS design proposal, and a costed action plan for its implementation.
