Objectives: The aim of this tender is to thoroughly examine the grievance handling and labour dispute resolution mechanisms available to platform workers in India, specifically focusing on major sectors like transport, delivery, and personal services. It seeks to develop a comprehensive national profile by mapping existing systems, their operational functionalities, and the challenges encountered by workers, especially given the context of algorithmic management and cross-border work complexities. The study will utilize qualitative methods, including Key Informant Interviews and Focus Group Discussions, to inform actionable recommendations for enhancing access to effective grievance redressal tailored to the realities of platform workers in India.
