UNDP/RFP/10/2025 - JERP - Feasibility study for Cold Storage facilities in Jajarkot and Rukum West districts

Objectives: The tender's key objective is to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for the potential development of cold storage facilities in Jajarkot and Rukum West Districts, Nepal. This initiative is part of the broader project aimed at 'Livelihoods Improvement and Disaster Resilience Enhancement in Areas Affected by the Jajarkot Earthquake,' supported by UNDP with backing from the Government of Japan and collaborating with the Government of Nepal. The primary purpose is to bolster effective earthquake recovery and resilience, aid in post-harvest agricultural practices, and provide market linkages for surplus agricultural produce. The study will determine the technical, financial, and operational viability of these facilities, aiming to streamline the storage and logistics of agricultural goods, ultimately benefiting local farmers and markets.
