Objectives: The objective is to contract a National Specialist in sustainable planning and land management to develop a project document focusing on enhancing the resilience of natural ecosystems, agroecosystems, and communities in Togo's Central Region to climate change. This endeavor aims to utilize Togo's STAR and LDCF allocations for project development. The initiative seeks to adopt an integrated approach for sustainable landscape management, fostering climate resilience through coordinated planning and inter-sectoral coordination. The project will emphasize restoring both natural and agroecosystems in priority areas and promote climate-smart, sustainable land-use practices. It aspires to facilitate strategic approaches to biodiversity conservation and socio-economic development while addressing land degradation and supporting climate adaptation for a resilient and sustainable future for Togo's Central Region.
