Objectives: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ecuador has announced a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the acquisition of a high-performance workstation. This initiative, under project No. 01001113 (IDEARIUM), aims to enhance scientific, technological, and innovation activities. The workstation is intended for the National Institute of Biodiversity (INABIO) to support scientific computing and 'basecalling' processes during nucleic acid sequencing operations in their laboratory. The workstation must possess advanced GPU technology with CUDA high processing capacity, substantial RAM, fixed storage, and computing power for scientific performance and deep learning applications.
