Support for integration and Customization of the NetZero Planner for Cork City, including the identification and mapping of local/national data sources, and subsequent collection and adaptation of data with the NetZero Planner, and estimations of indirect impacts of policy implementation across transport and built environment sectors

Objectives: The primary objective of this tender is to secure specialized support for the integration and customization of the NetZero Planner tailored for Cork City. This involves identifying and mapping relevant local and national data sources, subsequently collecting, and adapting this data to work effectively within the NetZero Planner framework. The aim is to facilitate accurate estimations of the indirect impacts that various policy implementations, particularly across the transport and built environment sectors, may have. By refining data use and enhancing the planner’s utility, Cork City intends to better monitor and progress towards its climate ambitions aligned with its Climate City Contracts (CCC). The expected outcome is a robust, tailored planning tool that helps Cork make data-driven decisions towards achieving its climate targets, ensuring strategic decision-making is supported by reliable data and tracking mechanisms.
