Project Manager - Development of Malaysia's Third NDC 3.0

Objectives: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is facilitating the development of Malaysia's Third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) through a detailed project, aligned with the updated National Climate Change Policy, Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategy (LT-LEDS), and NDC Roadmap and Action Plan (NDC RAP). This project involves enhancing national capacities for GHG emissions monitoring and engagement with various stakeholders across federal and state levels, private sector, and marginalized groups. The aim is to develop essential climate action plans involving a Just Transition, financing strategies, and gender-specific actions, enhancing awareness and educational initiatives while ensuring compliance with UNDP standards.
