ToR - Hygiene Rating Audit under “Eat Right School Program 3.0 “ Khilta Bachpan”

Objectives: The key objective of the tender is to empower school children to act as change agents to improve health and nutrition by focusing on safe and nutritious food and hygiene across 225 schools in Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab. The project aims to strengthen and align systems and structures as per government programs like RKSK, WIFS, and NDD, deliver nutrition education and services, and improve knowledge around diet and lifestyle among children and their parents. The expected outcomes include strengthened school systems ensuring nutritious meals for children, behavioral changes towards healthier eating, and registration and training of health & wellness ambassadors. Additionally, the project includes certifying schools under the FSSAI 'Eat Right' initiative and registering school kitchens for FSSAI licensing, hygiene rating, and FoSTaC training. This holistic approach emphasizes fostering a supportive ecosystem and enhancing community linkages through program ambassadors and change agents, ultimately enabling schools to embrace the 'Eat Right School' model effectively.
